Qualified Careers Adviser (Part Time)

Part Time - 15 days (7.4 hours per day) during term time only, January to July 2026
Salary
Up to £31,000 per annum FTE (based on Level 6 CIAG qualification)
About the Role
Education Development Trust is seeking a dedicated Careers Adviser to deliver high-quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) to students in school and college settings within the London Borough of Lambeth. You will support the Careers Lead in meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks, provide both one-to-one and group guidance, and maintain CEIAG Google Classrooms with up-to-date Labour Market Information (LMI). This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young people's career development and pathways.
Experience
Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting. Strong knowledge of education, employment, and training pathways is essential.
About you
Ability to engage effectively with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Excellent communication and organisational skills are required. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application as sponsorship is not available.
Qualifications
Level 6 CIAG qualification is required (Level 4 considered but will be reflected in salary).
