Qualified Careers Adviser (Part Time)

Up to £31,000 per annum full time equivalent (based on Level 6 CIAG qualification)
About the Role
Education Development Trust is seeking a dedicated Careers Adviser to deliver high-quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) to students in a school and college setting. You will support the Careers Lead in meeting Gatsby Benchmarks, provide one-to-one and group guidance, and maintain CEIAG Google Classrooms with up-to-date Labour Market Information (LMI). This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, with a focus on engaging students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and from disadvantaged backgrounds. Experience or willingness to learn about careers in media production is desirable. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this position; candidates must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.
Experience
- Experience working with young people, preferably in education
- Strong knowledge of education, employment, and training pathways
- Experience working with young people interested in media production careers is desirable

- Ability to engage students with SEND and from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn about media production careers
Qualifications
- Level 6 CIAG qualification required (Level 4 considered but salary will reflect this)
