About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to ensure compliance across daily operations and services requiring Quality Assurance involvement. This role primarily supports production activities, Warehousing, and Quality Control departments, ensuring full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
The QA Officer will review batch documentation, Certificates of Analysis (CofA’s), and laboratory testing results to support the release of intermediate and finished products. You will assist production team leaders in achieving GMP compliance excellence and promote a strong Quality Culture within the business. Additionally, you will manage the customer complaints process, ensuring product quality issues are investigated, escalated when necessary, and corrective/preventive actions (CA/PA) are implemented in line with worldwide regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), managing CAPA, Change Controls, Deviations, and Customer Complaints, writing and approving Standard Operating Procedures, reviewing manufacturing batch records, releasing non-licensed products via the ERP system, and ensuring all documentation is inspection-ready. You will escalate significant quality complaints or deviations, coordinate investigations and resolutions, support internal and external audits, vendor management, validation activities, and provide QA training and guidance to employees. You will also own and implement improvement projects to increase quality compliance and work closely with production staff and Quality management to maintain a positive quality culture and timely communication regarding quality and production matters.
Experience
- Experience in a QA/QC role within food or healthcare sectors
- Knowledge and practical experience of GMP
- Good knowledge of Quality Control Laboratory techniques for review purposes
