About the Role
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to deliver a seamless and welcoming Front of House experience. As the first point of contact for visitors, building users, contractors, and clients, you will play a key role in representing the building and ensuring all interactions reflect the professionalism and service excellence expected within a government workplace. You will operate within a multiskilled Front of House model, supporting both reception and pass office functions, maintaining a secure, efficient, and compliant visitor journey while adhering to strict government security protocols and operational procedures.
Key responsibilities include delivering a high-quality reception and hospitality-inspired service, providing a professional welcome to all visitors and building users, managing visitor arrivals, conducting security checks, coordinating VIP hosting, and handling pass management. You will maintain a professional, tidy, and efficient Front of House environment with consistent presence, support meeting room operations including room setup, daily checks, AV functionality, and raising facilities reports. Additionally, you will support emergency procedures such as fire evacuation, bomb threat response, and first aid escalation, accurately use client and ISS systems for reporting, logging, and daily task management, and assist building users with enquiries and general facilities support throughout the day.

Experience
- Previous Front of House experience within a corporate reception environment.
- Experience handling calls, switchboards, or busy reception lines.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
