About the Role
Help patients access the care they need. Every referral represents a patient waiting for the next stage of their care. As Referrals Team Lead, you'll ensure referrals are accurate, complete and sent to the right service first time. You will remain an active member of the referrals team while leading colleagues, maintaining quality and helping improve how the service operates. Your responsibilities include monitoring workload, supporting colleagues, improving processes and making sure patients don't experience delays due to paperwork getting stuck.

Experience
Experience in managing or leading a team within a healthcare or administrative environment is desirable. Familiarity with referral processes and healthcare systems is advantageous.

About you
You are organized, proactive and able to support and motivate a team. You have strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. You are able to identify process improvements and work collaboratively to implement them. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage workload effectively are essential.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in healthcare administration or team leadership are preferred but not essential. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop are important.
