About the Role
As a Rehoming & Welfare Coordinator specialising in Dog Assessing & Welfare at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, you will play a vital role in assessing dogs to ensure their suitability for rehoming and supporting their welfare throughout their stay. You will work closely with the rehoming team to provide expert assessments, deliver excellent animal care, and contribute to the overall wellbeing of the dogs in our care. This role requires a compassionate and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about animal welfare and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of dogs awaiting their forever homes.
Experience
Experience in dog assessing, animal welfare, or a related field is highly desirable. Previous work in a rehoming or rescue environment would be advantageous.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in animal care, animal behaviour, or welfare are preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
