About the Role
Are you an experienced Plumbing supervisor with extensive reactive repairs experience? Join the Royal Borough of Greenwich as a Repairs Supervisor and play a key role in enhancing housing services for residents. You will lead and manage a talented team of trades staff, driving service excellence by ensuring high standards in responsive repairs while balancing key performance indicators and financial responsibilities. You will oversee the operational delivery of a section of the repairs service, ensuring quality and value for money. This role also involves innovating and implementing proactive strategies to keep residents safe and healthy, alongside strategic budget management to ensure cost-effective operations.

Experience
- Extensive reactive plumbing and repairs supervisory experience is essential.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop large teams.
- Skilled in managing contractor performance, conducting site visits, and ensuring quality and safety standards.
- Experience in managing financial aspects including cost monitoring, budget management, and performance reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take corrective actions during site visits.
- Experience ensuring compliance with contract documents, professional standards, and statutory requirements.
About You
- Comprehensive understanding of responsive repairs and planned maintenance.
- Knowledge of BS8210 standards and building regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and liaising with tenants, staff, and contractors.
- Professional, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional housing services.
Qualifications
- Plumbing City & Guilds qualification or relevant experience is essential for this demanding role.
