About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Repairs Supervisor to take ownership of a designated patch in Lambeth, overseeing responsive maintenance works across our housing stock. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on trade knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality repairs services. You will take full responsibility for your geographical patch, ensuring all repairs are delivered efficiently and to high standards. You will supervise operatives and subcontractors across various trades, driving productivity and quality of workmanship. Your duties will include managing day-to-day responsive repairs, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to customer satisfaction, carrying out post-inspections and quality checks, and monitoring health & safety compliance across all sites. You will handle customer complaints through to resolution, liaise with tenants, planners, and internal teams, and support performance management, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers autonomy and the opportunity to lead from the front in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
- Proven experience supervising repairs and maintenance within social housing or a similar environment.
- Strong trade background (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, or general building) with solid multi-trade knowledge.

- Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) - essential.
- NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade - desirable.
