About the Role
Join Wates Property Services (WPS) as a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) supporting Facilities Management services across the prestigious JLL-managed Aviva portfolio in London. This role involves working across a varied commercial property portfolio delivering planned and reactive maintenance to ensure buildings remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently. You will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities, diagnosing faults and repairing electrical and mechanical building services systems. Key equipment includes HVAC systems, pumps and motors, lighting systems, electrical distribution systems, water systems and associated plant. You will respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs, ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations and company procedures. Accurate completion of work reports using CAFM/mobile systems and building strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders are essential. Experience
Proven experience within a Facilities Management, Building Services or Maintenance environment. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across building services systems. Experience carrying out both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. Good understanding of commercial building services. Experience working within prestigious corporate or commercial environments is desirable.

Qualifications
Applicants must hold qualifications in either an electrical or mechanical discipline:
- Electrical Engineers: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, Electrical Maintenance or related discipline, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671). Inspection & Testing (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent) is desirable.
- Mechanical Engineers: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline. HVAC qualification, certification or demonstrable HVAC maintenance experience.
Desirable qualifications include City & Guilds certifications and knowledge of BMS systems and statutory compliance requirements.
