About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Repairs Supervisor to take ownership of a designated patch in Lambeth, overseeing responsive maintenance works across our housing stock. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on trade knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality repairs services. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day responsive repairs, supervising operatives and subcontractors across various trades, and ensuring all repairs are delivered efficiently and to high standards. Key duties include carrying out post-inspections and quality checks, monitoring health and safety compliance, handling customer complaints to resolution, and liaising with tenants, planners, and internal teams. You will also support performance management, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives, working in a fast-paced environment and leading from the front.

Experience
- Proven experience supervising repairs and maintenance within social housing or a similar environment.
- Strong trade background (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, or general building) with solid multi-trade knowledge.
- Ability to manage your own patch and workload independently.

About you
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and able to lead a team effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – essential.
- NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade – desirable.
