About the Role
As a Research and Engagement Officer for Public Voice CIC, you will plan, undertake, deliver and report on research projects focused on health and social care, primarily within the Hounslow area. You will develop and maintain workflow systems to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, producing relevant outputs. Your research methods will include interviews (face to face, phone, and online), focus groups, surveys, case studies and literature reviews. You will lead a regular programme of outreach and events in Hounslow, engaging local communities to gather feedback on healthcare challenges and identify emerging patterns and trends. Additionally, you will onboard, support and manage volunteers, and employ both quantitative and qualitative methods to analyse research data. Presenting findings and recommendations clearly and accurately through verbal presentations and written reports will be a key part of your role. You will collaborate with Public Voice teams to identify gaps in policies and services, build strong working relationships with statutory partners and key agencies, and represent Public Voice and Healthwatch Hounslow at meetings. You will also write monitoring and evaluation reports for funders and contribute to bids for new work. Other reasonable duties may be assigned as required. Experience
Experience in conducting research using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods including interviews, focus groups, surveys and literature reviews. Experience in community engagement and volunteer management is desirable. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
