We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Retail Sous Chef to join our team overseeing a bustling hospitality department. The role includes food preparation—preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef while ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times. You will manage your station by overseeing the production of all dishes assigned to you, maintaining supplies and cleanliness in line with policies and procedures. Maintaining high quality standards for all dishes, including presentation and taste, is essential. You will collaborate positively with team members, support colleagues, and coach junior chefs to aid their development. Additionally, you will work with the head chef on menu development, tasting new recipes and suggesting improvements or innovations. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including your designated area and equipment, is also part of your responsibilities.

Experience
Proven experience working as a Hospitality Sous Chef or in a similar role.
