About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced and capable Risk Manager to join our busy and expanding London-based rail team. The main purpose of this role is to implement or support the implementation of an integrated risk management framework across a major capital programme.

Key responsibilities include facilitating identification, assessment and prioritisation of threats, opportunities and issues within the sub-programme; maintaining visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to support risk cost profiling and timely budget management; using risk data to inform investment planning; assisting with the identification and recording of measurable management responses; monitoring overall risk exposure against the remaining risk budget; proactively managing completion of management responses; collaborating with contractors to assess risks; producing timely risk reports; and conducting quantitative risk assessments (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate competence with risk tools such as PRA, @risk, Safran or similar, and familiarity with web-based database tools like ARM, Predict or Tableau.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience in a risk delivery role on major projects or programmes, particularly within rail or infrastructure sectors. Demonstrated ability in qualitative and quantitative risk assessment, risk workshop facilitation, threat mitigation, opportunity exploitation, and probabilistic modelling using tools such as @risk, PRA, and P6 or equivalents.

About you
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. A proactive and committed professional who is eager to find new and more effective ways of working. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders including contractors and clients.

Qualifications
