About the Role
Genetec is a global Canadian company specializing in security, intelligence, and operations solutions across diverse industries including transportation, education, and government. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) covering France, you will be at the forefront of Genetec's commercial expansion, converting inbound leads into qualified meetings and building outbound pipelines across two of Europe’s most strategically important markets. Working at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, you will engage enterprise prospects, build relationships with key decision-makers, and directly contribute to winning new business across the region. The role involves researching and identifying potential clients and decision-makers across French enterprise accounts, building targeted prospect lists by vertical, company size, and buying signals. You will conduct inbound and outbound prospecting through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn, leveraging tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and ZoomInfo to engage prospects at scale. You will act as a strategic partner to the France Account Executives and the EMEA Marketing team, aligning on campaigns, ABM initiatives, and local events. Success in this role is measured by exceeding daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline generation targets aligned with France revenue objectives.
Experience
Experience in a B2B sales or lead generation role is required. Proven success in inbound prospecting is essential; outbound prospecting experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve activity and conversion targets in a metrics-driven environment.
About you
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with fluency in French-speaking professional environments. Proactive, self-driven, and able to take initiative independently. Curious, coachable, and motivated with a willingness to seek out and apply feedback. Professional and adaptable across both formal and informal business settings.
Qualifications
French: Native or full professional proficiency (written and spoken) – required.
English: Full professional proficiency.
Additional European languages are considered an asset.

Genetec is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion through recruitment, training, and professional development. The company fosters a welcoming work environment for employees from all backgrounds and values people of all ages, gender identities, races, sexual orientations, physical or mental abilities, ethnicities, and perspectives.
