About the Role
Join a large and growing team of musicians and teachers working with children and adults across Havering. Havering Music School is developing innovative models of music teaching and learning, and we are seeking enthusiastic, creative musicians to work across Havering Schools, Havering Music School, and the wider adult tuition market. We are also exploring opportunities to collaborate with the NHS to provide music for health and wellbeing.

We require instrumental and vocal teachers to join our expanding team. Specialisms needed include Violin, Cello, Clarinet, Flute, Voice, Trombone, Piano, and Percussion, although applicants from all musical disciplines are welcome.

As part of our team, you will receive training and development opportunities to support your professional growth and help deliver high-quality music education across the borough.

Requirements

Experience
Experience working as a music teacher or musician is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm and creativity in music teaching are highly valued.

You are an enthusiastic and creative musician with a passion for teaching and engaging learners of all ages. You are adaptable and open to working in a variety of educational and community settings. You are committed to contributing positively to the development of music education in Havering.

Qualifications
Relevant music qualifications or teaching credentials are advantageous but not mandatory. A willingness to participate in training and professional development is essential.
