As a Membership Advisor for the Federation of Small Businesses, you will build a strong and sustainable business model servicing the SME community, backed by a trusted national business support organisation. As a field-based Membership Advisor, you will join a dynamic organisation selling a suite of business support services into the small business sector. You will manage your territory to deliver new members, driving new member acquisition and achieving quarterly sales targets. Your role includes developing and executing territory plans, identifying and targeting potential members through strategic planning and relationship building with key decision-makers. You will maximise revenue by proactively identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities with new and existing members. Effective use of Salesforce CRM to manage your sales pipeline through lead generation, referrals, and conversions is essential. Collaboration with internal teams, including the field-based development management team, ensures excellent customer service and efficient lead follow-up.
Experience
- Proven sales record with demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Experience in new business acquisition and account management
- Strong understanding of the SME sector and its unique challenges
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or similar platforms

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and resilient with a positive attitude
- Full UK driving license
