About the Role

Based at our Warrington site, known as the Italian centre of excellence, you will work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit producing high quality Italian ready meals for Tesco and Co-Op.

As a key member of our production team, you will work in a fast-paced environment ensuring exceptional quality service to our customers. The role is physically demanding, involving pushing, pulling, lifting, and standing for long periods.

Your tasks will include batching ingredients from recipe sheets, accurately recording traceability information, monitoring use-by dates, handling hot liquids with appropriate PPE, completing critical checks, filling out paperwork accurately, and working as part of a team in a chilled and noisy environment.

Experience
Experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Comfortable with handling and preparing food, standing for long periods, lifting, carrying, and cleaning tasks.

About you
You take pride in the quality of your work and are a respectful, friendly, honest, and hardworking team player who enjoys a positive work environment. You have a basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene, with training provided. You are able to accurately set up pasta machinery, run and monitor machinery, and supply pasta to the high-risk assembly department. Good level of English and Maths is required.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.
