About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator looking to make a real impact on young minds? We are seeking a motivated and inspiring SEN English Teacher to join our dynamic team at Brookways School, part of Kedleston Group. You will plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You will foster a positive learning environment that supports their educational and personal growth, assess and monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback and support. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community is essential to ensure student success. You will also participate in school activities, extracurricular programs, and professional development opportunities. Experience
- Experience of working with children with SEND and autistic spectrum condition (ASC)
- Experience in teaching English

- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods

Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A qualification in SEND education is desirable
