We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join our new Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team in London. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality projects from inception to completion and contribute to business growth by fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include maintaining strong professional relationships with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Clients, Sub-contractors, and other project team members; upholding the company’s reputation for collaboration and delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to a high-quality finish; ensuring compliance with all current legislation and safe working practices; optimising the use of resources including labour, plant, sub-contractors, and materials; producing and aligning procurement schedules with construction programmes; overseeing the appointment of sub-contractors and suppliers; managing construction phase health and safety plans; leading on Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) matters in close collaboration with the HSQE team; organising team structures for efficient resource use; and working closely with the project commercial team to deliver projects within approved cost plans.

Experience
Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor.
Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of construction procedures.
Up to date knowledge of building legislation and Health and Safety legislation.
Commercial and contractual awareness.

Qualifications
MCIOB membership.
