About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Data & Analytics team at ClearScore Technology Limited. In this role, you will play a key part in driving strategy and decision-making across the organisation, benefiting users, partners, and internal teams. As part of the growing Global Targeting team, you will take end-to-end ownership of data science and machine learning solutions aimed at enhancing the ClearScore user experience through improved dynamic content targeting and prioritisation.

You will lead the development of data science and machine learning initiatives from concept through to impact evaluation, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions effectively support business needs. You will keep our modelling practice at the cutting edge by evaluating and adopting new ML and AI approaches, such as Foundation Models, and setting high quality standards for production models.

Your work will include scrutinising data, features, and model behaviour to identify issues before they affect users, driving improvements in model development and management processes, and strategically utilising model outputs to influence user experiences. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to ClearScore’s mission and overall strategy, working within a collaborative and innovative analytical community.

Experience
- Proven experience leading end-to-end development of data science and machine learning solutions
- Strong knowledge of advanced Python and SQL, with expertise in dbt and Analytics Engineering for feature engineering
- In-depth understanding of varied statistical and machine learning techniques and full model lifecycle management
- Experience using business-domain knowledge to drive model development or derive insights
- Demonstrable ability to explain complex analysis and modelling results to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in product-focused environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience with AI tools and emerging ML/AI approaches such as Deep Learning, representation learning, sequence models, transformer-based modelling, or foundation models is highly desirable
- Experience developing or working on real-time or near real-time inference solutions and infrastructure
- Experience working with and deploying solutions into Databricks is advantageous
- Understanding of consumer lending, credit and affordability strategies, and credit bureau data is a plus
