About the Role
As a Senior Homecare Nurse at Inizio Engage, you will provide day-to-day leadership, support and guidance to Clinical Nurses, ensuring high standards of clinical care and operational excellence. You will conduct regular one-to-one meetings, probation reviews, performance discussions and development conversations to coach, mentor and build capability within the nursing team. Your role includes supporting Clinical Nurses in achieving clinical, professional and operational objectives, identifying development opportunities, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

You will support delivery of contractual KPIs, service objectives and patient outcomes by assisting with workforce planning, resource management, and coordinating clinical activity to ensure safe, efficient and effective service delivery. You will contribute to quality improvement projects, operational initiatives and deputise for the Clinical Nurse Manager when required.

Building and maintaining positive relationships with healthcare professionals, NHS stakeholders, patients and carers is essential. You will work collaboratively with Clinical Account Managers to support patient pathways, discharge planning and continuity of care, and represent the organisation professionally while upholding company values.

Cross-functional collaboration is key, working closely with Clinical Nurse Managers, Clinical Account Managers, Scheduling and Patient Helpline teams to ensure timely patient support and service development. You will promote a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement by ensuring compliance with Clinical Governance principles, NMC standards and company policies, managing incidents and safeguarding concerns effectively, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Continuous professional development and reflective practice are encouraged to maintain up-to-date professional knowledge and deliver excellent patient care.

Experience
Proven experience in clinical nursing with leadership responsibilities. Experience in managing and supporting nursing teams, conducting performance reviews and development conversations. Familiarity with clinical governance, quality improvement, and operational management within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications
Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. Relevant clinical qualifications and continuous professional development. Knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding, and healthcare compliance standards. Completion of mandatory and programme-specific training as required.
