About the Role
The School of Human Sciences at London Metropolitan University is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy to support the delivery and ongoing development of our Physiotherapy programmes. You will be a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered specialist physiotherapist, ideally holding a higher degree or PhD. In this role, you will contribute significantly to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, delivering content aligned with your expertise while supporting broader curriculum elements. You will join a collaborative, multi-professional academic team including physiotherapists, nurses, food scientists, nutritionists, sports professionals, and dietitians. Working closely with academic colleagues and placement partners, you will help ensure a high-quality, practice-focused student experience across academic and clinical settings. A key focus of the role is engagement with local communities and healthcare partners to support the development of a diverse and inclusive future workforce that reflects the populations it serves. Experience
Registered specialist physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential. Experience working collaboratively with academic colleagues and clinical placement partners is highly desirable.
