You will be part of the Customer Data Services (CDS) Lab, responsible for managing customer data across Lloyds Banking Group. Our mission is to ensure data availability with appropriate confidentiality, delivering exceptional engineering performance, resilience, and integrity.

The systems we support underpin almost everything we do. We maintain these systems to the highest standards and aim to take ownership of operational support 24/7 using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.

Experience
- Leading mainframe engineering teams as a subject matter expert
- Hands-on software engineering with mission-critical mainframe applications
- Working with both traditional and modern toolsets such as ISPF, IBM & BMC tools, Endevor, GIT, and VSCode
- Expert knowledge of COBOL, CICS, and DB2
- Strong understanding of mainframe architecture with a vision for modernisation

Qualifications
It would be advantageous to have experience with Java or Python programming languages.
