As Senior Manager Stakeholder Management, you will manage and oversee the implementation and delivery of a range of Stakeholder Management services to support commissions. You will provide line management leadership and guidance within the assigned Hub as required.

Your responsibilities include being accountable for supporting specialist functions within the Stakeholder Management Service on assigned commissions, designing and implementing Stakeholder Management frameworks and strategies, managing clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on all relevant matters, and building strong professional relationships with clients.

You will provide comprehensive advice on Stakeholder & Communications standards, processes, and tools, manage risks and issues, facilitate reporting and governance meetings, and develop functional management strategies and plans. You will work closely with the Stakeholder & Communications Service Director and Project Manager to identify actions, opportunities, and mitigate risks.

Ensuring all activities comply with Mace Control Centre, client requirements, and relevant regulations, you will provide line management to junior resources, mentor staff, lead integration with other disciplines, and support resourcing and recruitment. You will also contribute to the organisation’s net zero carbon transition goals by proactively managing associated carbon emissions during project delivery.

Requirements

Experience
- Effective leadership on complex construction projects
- Setting up functional management and assurance frameworks/strategies
- Managing activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome
- Deep domain knowledge in sectors such as rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, or hospitals
- Proven ability to manage, influence, and negotiate with senior stakeholders
- Experience supporting delivery of Stakeholder & Communications services within construction or management consultancy (up to 5 years or equivalent)
- Experience working client-side and consultancy
- Creating and delivering persuasive presentations to diverse industry audiences

Qualifications
- Relevant university degree (e.g. construction, engineering) or equivalent
- Progress towards Chartered status or equivalent professional membership (e.g. Association of Project Managers)
- Practical knowledge of Stakeholder & Communications Service opportunities
- Basic knowledge of relevant tools and software such as MS Excel
