About the Role
At NewDay, our Fraud teams play a critical role in protecting our customers and business from evolving fraud threats. As Senior Manager, Transactional Fraud Strategy, you'll lead a team responsible for identifying emerging fraud trends, developing effective prevention strategies and enhancing our fraud capabilities across the customer lifecycle. You will combine analytical expertise, leadership and stakeholder management to drive fraud performance, support strategic change initiatives and help shape the future direction of transactional fraud at NewDay.

Key responsibilities include leading, coaching and developing a team of fraud analysts to create a high-performing culture and build analytical capability across the function. You will develop, implement and optimise transactional fraud strategies using data and insight to identify emerging threats and reduce fraud losses. Partnering with teams across Fraud, Operations, Technology, Product, Risk and Change, you will deliver effective fraud controls while balancing customer experience and commercial outcomes. You will also work closely with the Fraud Platform team to enhance fraud detection capabilities and support key transformation initiatives, including card platform migration activity. Building strong internal and external relationships, you will use industry insight and thought leadership to influence fraud strategy and support business objectives.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience within Transactional Fraud Strategy in Financial Services
- Strong analytical capability, with experience using data to develop fraud strategies and deliver actionable insights
- Experience working with fraud detection, prevention or decisioning systems
- Previous people leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across multiple business functions
- Commercial awareness and the ability to balance fraud risk, customer outcomes and business performance
