About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Paediatric Intensive Care pharmacy team for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Paediatric Pharmacy Technician seeking a new challenge to develop their career in paediatrics. The role involves liaising closely with pharmacists, nursing, and medical staff, providing medicines management services including medication reconciliation, patient drug assessments, communication with patients and carers, ordering and reviewing medications, dispensing and checking controlled drugs, stock control, and supporting the South Thames Retrieval Service medicine packs. You will also assist in training and supervising junior staff and participate in quality management, clinical governance, and departmental projects.
