About the Role
Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company delivering outcomes that improve people’s lives through real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources projects. We are currently seeking Senior Project Controls Engineers to join our busy and expanding London infrastructure business, working on a number of high profile, London-based infrastructure projects.

As a Senior Project Controls Engineer, you will be part of the project controls team providing performance reporting and analysis support on high value infrastructure projects. You may work within a large team or act as the key day-to-day contact point with the client.

Your duties will include collaborating with cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines, establishing progress and cost monitoring methods, producing project control reports, and providing performance analysis and recommendations to clients. You will contribute to effective project control through earned value management, progress updating, cost control, change control, baseline management, and reporting within a Primavera P6 environment.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience in a project controls environment on major infrastructure projects or programmes is essential. Experience within sectors such as Airports, Rail, Utilities or Defence is beneficial. Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding and practical experience of earned value management, progress updating, cost control, change control, baseline management, reporting, and working within a Primavera P6 environment.

About you
You will be a proactive self-starter with well-developed communication and analytical skills. Numerate and computer literate, you will be highly competent in Microsoft Excel and planning software such as Primavera. Familiarity with financial and procurement systems such as Oracle and SAP, as well as web-based project control tools, is expected.

Qualifications
Typically, you will be a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with relevant work experience or proven experience in a project control environment. Strong technical skills combined with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively are essential.
