About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer with a focus on Planning to join our Defence team. This role supports major, highly technical projects for the UK Ministry of Defence and strategic Defence suppliers. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules aligned with project requirements, working closely with project managers and teams to improve efficiency and reduce uncertainty. Key responsibilities include evaluating schedule progress, identifying potential issues, supporting change management processes, and developing status reports to keep management informed. You will conduct analysis to determine alternative actions or recovery plans for slipped schedules. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and challenging commissions within a supportive and development-focused environment. Due to the sensitive nature of the projects, applicants must be sole UK nationals eligible to obtain and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC). Holding SC clearance already is desirable but not essential to apply.

Experience
- Professional project controls experience specialising in Planning & Scheduling across the full project lifecycle
- Strong knowledge and proficiency with Primavera P6 and other planning and resourcing software
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working in Defence or regulated environments is advantageous

Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant technical or management field or equivalent qualifications and experience
- Membership of a relevant professional body such as the Association for Project Management or Project Management Institute
- Must be a sole UK National able to achieve and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC)
