As a Senior Project Manager, you will work within capital delivery, leading project teams in a collaborative environment and engaging positively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the simultaneous delivery of multiple water and water recycling projects and/or programmes within the AMP8 programme.
Your role will ensure adherence to client project governance procedures including risk, cost, and change control. You will collaborate with other teams across the business to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include preparing and implementing project management plans, driving design development, contract administration under NEC3/4 contracts, ensuring compliance with environmental, CDM 2015, water quality, and health and safety standards, managing contractors, and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement including third-party liaisons.
This role requires a proactive leader who can manage complex projects, foster collaboration, and deliver sustainable outcomes aligned with client and organisational goals.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ project management experience managing large, complex or multiple infrastructure/capital schemes, preferably within the water sector or a regulated industry.
- Proven experience leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience in contract administration, including NEC3/4 contracts.
- Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations impacting project delivery.
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project, programme, and financial management tools such as Oracle and Primavera P6.

Qualifications
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent professional body, or demonstrable professional or personal development in project management.
- Experience in property or infrastructure project management is desirable.
