About the role This is an exciting opportunity to work within our policy, evidence and influencing team to achieve change for people with breast cancer in London. You’ll play a key role leading the development and delivery of our influencing work in London. You’ll be part of our new regional policy and influencing function within the policy, evidence and influencing team at Breast Cancer Now. This new element of the team will enable us to continue to deliver our impactful influencing work at a regional level for people affected by breast cancer. You’ll maintain knowledge and expertise of breast cancer services and care in London which will inform our national policy positioning and plans, build our stakeholder relationships and influence change in London. This will include focusing on topics such as waiting times, screening, and secondary breast cancer. About you You’ll have a good understanding of the current health landscape in London, or across England, along with experience of working in a relevant stakeholder, strategic, influencing or policy role. Along with strong strategic, analytical and communication skills, you’ll have a proven ability to build strong external relationships, and influence change within the NHS at a local or national level. You’ll have the ability to work well independently while managing a varied workload, and the capability to lead projects and work with teams across the UK. Primary location of role and hybrid working This role is primarily based in our London office. However, our hybrid working model allows full-time staff members to work up to 3 days per week at home.
