About the Role
Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is central to Amazon's commitment to innovation. As a Senior RME Technician, you will help ensure that the tools and technologies we use remain cutting-edge and efficient. You will lead a team, monitor equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance, and schedule additional servicing as needed. You will supervise technicians on shift, supporting their development and acting as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers. Your role includes solving equipment issues to reduce downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to standardize processes across the EU network.
Each shift, you will ensure all equipment is operational and that processes comply with regulations and policies. You will monitor systems using tools such as Scada, suggest and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, and assist your line manager with administrative tasks. Experience
- Relevant experience in a technical leadership role
- Experience working in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Experience in automation or material handling equipment environments
- Experience working in multi-contractor and multi-site environments preferred
- Experience using computerised maintenance management systems preferred

- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
Qualifications
- Full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject
- Understanding of PLC based control systems and statutory compliance requirements preferred
- Degree in a technical discipline or operations preferred
