About the Role

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will leverage your deep understanding of Engine’s technology and architecture to explain the product, uncover client requirements, and support the design and delivery of client solutions. You will be involved in sales, delivery, and ongoing client success, collaborating closely with Technology, Delivery, Product, Client Success, and Business Development teams.

This role blends technical expertise with strong communication and collaboration skills. You will become an Engine expert, leading technical designs during implementation, building relationships with clients and system integrator partners, and shaping the product roadmap. You will provide expert guidance, document scope and roadmap decisions, and ensure seamless integrations. Additionally, you will support existing clients by troubleshooting technical issues, translating client needs into technical requirements, and architecting innovative solutions to enhance the Engine platform.

Experience
- End-to-end software engineering and solution architecture across the software delivery lifecycle
- Software service design and integration, including RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specification, and sequence diagrams
- Cloud infrastructure and large-scale cloud applications
- Client-facing experience building relationships with stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, able to deliver complex messaging to technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluent in English and at least one relevant European language (ideally French or Spanish)

Nice to Have
- Experience in retail or business banking, core banking, card processing, or payments
- Delivery and implementation experience in core banking or large-scale digital transformation programmes, application migration, and solution integration
- Commercial acumen with experience building business cases
- Experience in a SaaS organisation in Client Solutions or Client Engineering roles
- Knowledge of global financial regulations
- Ability to speak multiple European languages is a significant advantage
