Within the Personal Lab, our mission is to securely manage customer data for Lloyds Banking Group, ensuring accessibility for authorised purposes while maintaining performance, resilience, and data integrity. We uphold top-tier engineering standards to achieve this.
Experience
- Proficient in interpreting diverse stakeholder requirements and transforming them into coherent, innovative designs aligned with organisational strategy
- Skilled at communicating designs to engineering teams and breaking work down into deliverables
- Excellent diagramming techniques for data and system modelling
- Experienced in designing performant, scalable, and cost-effective systems
- Knowledgeable in event-driven, RESTful, micro-service architectures and SOLID design principles
- Experienced in data modelling and domain segregation
- Skilled in designing data pipelines for cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Able to articulate architecture trade-offs and select best-fit architectures
- Follow a security-first architecture approach
- Knowledge of Java, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles
- Enjoy mentoring and motivating teams
- Possess a growth mindset
