About the Role
Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries, delivering outcomes that improve people’s lives across real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources. Our Supply Market Management (SMM) capability operates within our Programme Advisory services, providing specialist, insight-led advice to help clients understand, shape and engage supply markets to support better investment decisions, procurement strategies and delivery outcomes. Due to continued growth in our Infrastructure and Real Estate sectors, we are seeking a Senior Supply Market Management Analyst to join our expanding Procurement and Contract Services team.
This role is suited to an experienced analyst who can independently lead complex analytical activities, deliver high-quality market insight, and act as a key contributor to client-facing Supply Market Management commissions. The focus is analytical and advisory, centered on understanding supply market dynamics, risks and opportunities rather than operational supply chain delivery.
The Senior Supply Market Management Analyst will play a critical role in delivering robust supply market intelligence, supplier analysis and evidence-based insight to support major infrastructure programmes and complex procurement strategies. Working closely with SMM Managers and Associate Directors, you will take responsibility for defined analytical workstreams, support client engagement, and help translate technical analysis into clear, practical recommendations. The role also offers opportunities to mentor junior analysts, contribute to methodological development, and build credibility as a trusted member of client delivery teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead development of supply market assessments, analysis and insights for defined categories, programmes or workstreams
- Undertake detailed supplier capability, capacity, financial and pipeline analysis to identify market risks, resilience and opportunity
- Develop and maintain supply market models, maps and datasets ensuring analytical robustness and data integrity
- Produce high-quality reports, dashboards and presentations communicating complex analysis clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
- Support planning and delivery of market engagement and market-sounding activities including analysis of feedback and outcomes
- Work directly with clients and project teams to explain findings, test assumptions and refine recommendations
- Coordinate inputs from multiple data sources and stakeholders to build coherent, evidence-based insight
- Provide day-to-day guidance and informal coaching to junior analysts supporting quality and consistency of outputs
- Collaborate with procurement, commercial, cost and project management colleagues to integrate market insight into wider strategies
- Contribute to development of tools, templates and best practice within the Supply Market Management community
The Offer
Turner & Townsend offers a clear and supported development pathway within a fast-growing specialist discipline. You will benefit from exposure to major, high-profile programmes and blue-chip clients, structured development toward Manager-level roles, and opportunities to contribute to the growth and maturity of the SMM practice. We encourage a hybrid working model to support a practical work/life balance and promote professional development including support toward Chartered status (CIPS) and Fellowship.
