About the Role
Are you a highly skilled data professional ready to shape outcomes for children and young people? We are seeking an experienced Service Analyst Manager to lead performance and insight within our Youth Justice Service. This strategic role requires expertise in Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel to directly influence service delivery, statutory reporting, and evidence-based decision-making.

You will lead service performance analysis and reporting, build and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards, write and optimise SQL queries to extract and transform complex datasets, and use advanced Excel techniques including PivotTables, Power Query, data modelling, and complex formulas to deliver high-quality insight. You will ensure accurate statutory returns and KPI reporting, and present clear, actionable analysis to senior leaders and partners.

This pivotal leadership role involves managing a small team, overseeing reporting and case management systems, and leading data projects that enhance business intelligence and reduce information overload. You will work closely with senior leaders and partner agencies to provide insight, support strategic planning, and prepare for inspections. Additionally, you will be responsible for system administration, data quality, compliance with legislation, and developing innovative solutions to improve service delivery.

Lambeth Youth Justice Service is a dynamic multi-disciplinary team committed to supporting children, young people, and their families by addressing vulnerabilities, reducing risks, and tackling factors that lead to offending behaviour. Our integrated approach helps children and young people fulfil their potential and make positive contributions to their communities. We are collaborative, inclusive, and guided by our core values: Equity, Accountability, Ambition, and Kindness.

- Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people through data.
- Collaborative and inclusive, aligned with the values of Equity, Accountability, Ambition, and Kindness.
