Job Description WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY: Take responsibility for the catering operation in line with Company policies, Client requirements and financial constraints. Provide leadership and guidance to all team members to ensure a positive customer experience, under the guidance of the Manager Work with the manager to monitor the work of all the staff and carry out appraisals, recognise training needs and potential as appropriate. Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company and client information. Ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and that their food service and value expectations are consistently exceeded. Conduct Food Safety and Health and Safety Risk Assessments and ensure that all standards and procedures in respect of Hygiene and Safety are established and maintained Company Description Supervisor - Monday to Friday London £30,000 If you're a senior team member working in catering and looking for the next step or a bit more responsibility, this is the role for you!! Working with our amazing Group Manager, you'll be assisting with the running of a ground floor café space in an ultra cool and modern, multi tenanted building a short walk from Old Street Station. The focus of the café is to deliver a fantastic coffee service, supported by a light, heathy breakfast and lunch offer. The café area is situated in a large communal area and a real focal point for the space. There's a strong focus on delivering a great experience to all customers so you'll need to have some experience in creating great, engaging events that encourages repeat patronage The café also provides working lunches and corporate hospitality for the building's tenants so some experience delivering meeting room catering would be an advantage! The role is 40 hours split over Monday to Friday so your weekends are yours to enjoy, what's more, you'll be working for a dynamic, award winning team who'll help you develop as much as you'd like!
