About the Role
We are seeking a Site Cleaning Manager for our contract with Thomas’s College in Richmond on a fixed term contract until 31.08.2027. Set in a beautiful green space, Thomas’s College is part of Thomas’s London Day Schools, a family-run group of co-educational independent schools for children aged two to sixteen. As Site Cleaning Manager, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of cleaning operations across the recently refurbished college campus, which includes educational buildings, boarding houses, and offices.
You will manage a team consisting of a site supervisor, 9 evening cleaners, two day janitors, and a housekeeper. Your responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, and training your team, ensuring they have the skills and tools needed to maintain clean, hygienic, and safe environments. You will also oversee motivation, wellbeing, and performance, manage stock ordering, conduct regular site audits, and complete timesheets to ensure accurate monthly payments. Additionally, you will provide managerial support to other sites within the Thomas’s Schools contract.
You will report directly to the Contract Manager for the area.

Experience
Proven experience as a Cleaning Manager or Cleaning Supervisor, managing either a single site or multiple locations. Experience in team leadership and operational management within cleaning services is essential.

You are committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and are proactive in supporting your team’s wellbeing and performance.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or training in cleaning management or facilities management would be advantageous but are not mandatory. A positive attitude and strong leadership skills are essential.
