We are seeking a high performing Site Manager to join our well-established team and play a key role in leading change and delivering successful projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and management of safety, quality, time, cost, and performance outputs of project deliverables. You will liaise with clients and attend all project meetings to provide updates on progress against programme deliverables including delivery, health & safety, and quality.

You will assist the Operations Manager with resource planning by assessing labour and plant requirements for on-site installation teams. Coordination of all design, engineering, and construction activities will be essential to ensure successful district heating system installation and commissioning.

Ensuring that material bills of quantities meet project requirements and that materials procured are reconciled to the BOQ in accordance with company procedures will be key to achieving best value and preventing delays. You will provide leadership and management to the project’s design, engineering, and construction teams on site.

Overseeing system commissioning, testing, and handover to ensure performance meets design specifications will be part of your responsibilities, along with compiling Q&A documents ready for handover to clients upon project completion.

Experience
Practical experience working as a manager on active construction sites is essential. Experience in engineering related to buried district heating systems is preferred.

Qualifications
Black CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications are preferred. Knowledge of heating system design, pipework installation, plant commissioning, and controls would be advantageous.
