About the Role

As our London Construction business continues to grow, we are seeking two Site Quantity Surveyors to support the successful delivery of key projects across the capital. In this role, you will play a critical part in the day-to-day commercial management of projects on site. Working closely with project teams, you will ensure costs are controlled, risks are managed, and value is maximised throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers exposure to a diverse range of construction projects across London and welcomes candidates from various sector backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final account
- Prepare, review, and administer subcontract packages, including procurement and appointment
- Monitor project costs, valuations, and forecasts to maintain financial performance
- Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities
- Prepare and submit applications for payment and manage cash flow effectively
- Handle variations, change control processes, and associated negotiations
- Work closely with site and project teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and programme alignment
- Support dispute avoidance and resolution where required
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Experience
- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Site Quantity Surveyor role within a construction environment
- Strong understanding of commercial management on live projects
- Working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT forms of contract
- Experience managing subcontractors and cost control processes

Qualifications
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (desirable)
