About the Role
The London Borough of Harrow is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to provide a high-quality and effective social work service that responds to the needs of individuals with care and support needs, their informal carers, and their families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines. All assessments and support plans will be completed in accordance with the wellbeing principles of the Care Act 2014 and reflect a strengths-based approach. Experience
Must hold a qualification in Social Work. Good demonstrable understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. Have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

About you
Educated to degree level or equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience (BSc/MA in Social Work, Dip SW/HE or CQSW). Knowledge of social work models and interventions, including strengths-based practice models (Desirable). Knowledge and understanding of discriminated groups and the ability to ensure that services are appropriately delivered to meet their needs (Desirable).
