Full Time - 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Hybrid working supported with a minimum of 3 days per week office-based and up to 2 days per week home working.

Salary
£44,937 rising in annual increments to £51,228 including London Weighting

About the Role
We are seeking a Social Worker to join the Lambeth Forensic Mental Health Social Work Team, working closely with the Lambeth Community Forensic Mental Health Clinical Team. This multidisciplinary team includes nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, providing support and advice to adults with severe and enduring mental health problems and significant forensic histories.

As a Social Worker, you will deliver a quality, responsive, safe, and person-centred service to support and promote the well-being of Lambeth residents. Safeguarding Adults is a key focus, and all staff are expected to be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable people.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills and familiarity with current legislation and policies. We are looking for experienced Social Workers committed to working in Mental Health and progressing towards Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification. Requirements

Experience
Experience working as a Social Worker in Mental Health is essential. Commitment to working towards Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification is required.

You will be committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting their welfare. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential. You should be motivated to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate a person-centred approach to social work practice.

Qualifications
Qualified Social Worker with registration to practice. Progression towards AMHP qualification is expected and will be supported.
