About the Role
Lyst is a global fashion shopping platform founded in London in 2010, serving over 160 million shoppers annually. We offer the largest assortment of premium and luxury fashion products in one place, curating pieces from 27,000 of the world's leading brands and stores. In 2025, Lyst joined Zozo, the leading fashion e-commerce platform in Japan, marking a new era focused on transforming fashion shopping through AI and technology. Our mission is to help fashion shoppers make better decisions and help fashion partners find better audiences as the category-leading destination for every fashion shopper.

The Affiliate Operations team powers the technology connecting millions of shoppers with top fashion brands. Our squad builds platforms, data products, marketing services, and bidding systems that drive critical customer acquisition, partner integrations, and revenue growth. We are a highly data-driven engineering organization that validates ideas through experimentation, measures success by business outcomes, and continuously improves platforms using evidence.

In this role, you will build and maintain revenue-critical platforms including product data pipelines, bidding systems, and integrations. Your work will directly support revenue generation while ensuring reliability, scalability, and readiness for new markets and acquisition channels. You will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Analytics, and Engineering teams to launch new capabilities and reduce manual operational effort.

You will continuously improve our systems through enhanced observability, automation, and thoughtful refactoring, contributing to evolving architecture and engineering practices to maintain platform resilience at scale. Ownership is key: you will design, ship, and operate services in production, participate in technical decisions, and uphold high standards of quality and maintainability.

Within your first three months, you will be fully embedded in the team, contributing to production systems, shipping meaningful improvements, gaining confidence across services and data pipelines, identifying opportunities for reliability and automation improvements, and becoming a trusted contributor to technical discussions and product delivery.

- Technical curiosity: enjoy understanding complex systems, solving technical problems, and improving architecture, performance, and reliability
