48 hours per week, latest finish 11pm, Sundays and Mondays closed
Salary
£40,000 per annum plus bonuses
About the Role
Our client is an award-winning neighbourhood restaurant offering high quality modern European dishes with a strong emphasis on quality-led service. The restaurant has an intimate 60-seat setting and serves a contemporary Mediterranean a la carte menu, prepared using the latest equipment and cooking techniques. The kitchen team consists of over 7 chefs including main kitchen and pastry. The kitchen is spacious, state of the art, fully air-conditioned, and designed to support a high standard of fine dining. This role is ideal for a strong Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef ready to step up and work closely under the mentorship of a group head chef, running a small fine dining restaurant kitchen and training a small culinary team.
Experience
A highly competent, passionate, and professional Sous Chef with a solid culinary background. Experience running a small fine dining kitchen and training a culinary team is essential.
About you
You are capable of working well under close mentorship, have strong leadership skills, and are motivated to maintain high standards in a fine dining environment.
Qualifications
Relevant culinary qualifications and previous experience in a fine dining or contemporary Mediterranean kitchen are preferred.
