Key responsibilities include preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef while ensuring food safety standards are always met; managing your station by overseeing dish production and maintaining cleanliness and supplies; maintaining high quality standards for presentation and taste; collaborating positively with team members and coaching junior chefs; assisting in menu development by working with the head chef to create and improve recipes; and ensuring the kitchen and equipment are clean, organised, and well maintained.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
