About the Role
We are looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to join our amazing retail Culinary team at a leading global investment bank in Central London. This role requires a real passion for the Hospitality industry, a collaborative spirit, and pride in your work. Our Retail Kitchen manages Breakfast and Lunch services, handling an average of 3000 transactions daily. You will have full autonomy across our 7 counters, allowing you to bring your own flair to our dishes. As a leading business in the catering industry, we pride ourselves on innovative service and authentic culinary offerings.

Key Responsibilities
As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in day-to-day kitchen operations, menu delivery, and team supervision. You will ensure the smooth running of service while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and compliance. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring food production, standards, costs, and menu planning are carried out in a timely manner.
- Assisting the Head Chef with food orders and developing new menu ideas.
- Overseeing 7 sections of our Retail Kitchen.
- Motivating and mentoring a brigade of around 15 chefs.
- Collaborating with our Group Culinary Lead on food innovation and concept development.
- Planning, preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the required standards.
- Assisting with Food, Health, and Safety responsibilities in the kitchen.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef in a contract catering environment is ideal. Comfortable with delivering 3000+ covers a day across Breakfast and Lunch.

About you
Organised, calm under pressure, and eager to grow professionally. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Passionate about food and innovative with new ideas. Strong team management skills.

Qualifications
Good understanding of Food, Health & Safety, including allergens and nutritional information.
