About the Role
Murphy is a leading international engineering and construction company specialising in infrastructure, transportation, and energy sectors. As an SR163 Works Superintendent based in Uxbridge, you will manage on-site resources including plant, machinery, and materials to optimise productivity and project efficiency. You will oversee multiple workstreams across Earthwork, Drainage, and Civil operations, ensuring best practices and compliance with environmental and safety standards. Your role includes coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams to maintain workflow and meet project timelines, conducting site briefings and risk assessments, and collaborating with project managers, clients, and stakeholders. You will maintain Murphy’s rigorous quality controls to deliver work to the highest specification, ensuring project success from start to finish.

Experience
- Experience on Major Projects, specifically Substation work
- CSCS card holder
- SSSTS / SMSTS card holder
- SR163 holder

About you
- Strong communicator and collaborator with the ability to build solid working relationships across the team
- Flexibility to travel and stay away from home as required
- Proficient in relevant engineering software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Full UK driving licence

Qualifications
- Relevant certifications as listed above (CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, SR163)
- Legal right to live and work in the UK
