About the Role
The SSD/EDU Technician will undertake initial investigations into non-conformance reports as instructed. The role involves manual dexterity and concentration for the disassembly and reassembly of reusable medical devices in accordance with manufacturers' instructions. You will operate decontamination equipment and carry out routine tests following Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules, Quality Standards, and Guidance. Attendance at regular departmental team meetings and any required training is expected. Duties will be consistent with the responsibility of the grade and the needs of the service.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in handling and maintaining reusable medical devices or similar technical equipment is desirable. Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards is essential.

About you
You should have good manual dexterity, strong concentration skills, and the ability to work accurately under supervision. Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and participate in on-call duties is required. A proactive attitude towards training and team collaboration is important.

Qualifications
