About the Role
As a Stock Condition Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Peabody invests in and maintains its homes. Your work will directly influence asset strategy, ensuring our properties are safe, compliant, and fit for the future. This is a great opportunity to combine technical expertise with real impact - supporting high-quality homes while delivering a strong customer experience across a diverse housing portfolio.
You will carry out stock condition surveys across Peabody’s homes and communal areas, collecting accurate data on building components, repairs, and lifecycle costs to inform future investment. You will undertake HHSRS surveys, fire risk assessments, and DDA audits to ensure compliance, upload and maintain high-quality data within asset management systems, and provide clear, practical advice on property condition to support planned works programmes.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will support the delivery of investment programmes and engage with residents professionally to build positive working relationships. All site activity must be conducted in line with health and safety regulations. This role includes regular travel across your region to visit properties and requires a Basic DBS check.
