About the Role
Lift New Rickstones, graded 'Good' as of November 2023, offers a state-of-the-art building with excellent facilities for both students and staff. Over the past eight years, the academy has experienced significant growth, with student numbers more than doubling. It is a popular and oversubscribed school in the local area, recently expanding with a new building to meet demand.
We are seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Maths to join our established department. The Maths team delivers a broad and challenging curriculum designed to develop deep understanding and equip students with the skills needed for higher education and beyond. Our experienced teachers are enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting every learner's success.
Through interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and innovative teaching methods, we make mathematics accessible, engaging, and enjoyable. We provide targeted support at KS4 and KS5, including exam preparation strategies, extra help sessions, one-to-one tutoring, and differentiated instruction. Students are encouraged to extend their learning beyond the classroom through extracurricular visits and enrichment opportunities.
