About the Role
Lift Beacon High is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our new Autism Resource Provision (ARP). This exciting provision supports students with Autism and associated social communication needs, helping them access learning, build confidence and achieve success both within the ARP and across the wider school community. Working alongside experienced teachers and HLTAs, you will support the delivery of a bespoke curriculum, lead small-group interventions, and help students successfully integrate into mainstream lessons. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for our students. The role is fixed term until August 2027 and is due to commence September / early October 2026.

Requirements

Experience
A passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential. Experience working with children with Autism or additional needs is desirable but not essential.

About you
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Patience, empathy and resilience. A collaborative approach and commitment to inclusive education.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in education or supporting children with additional needs is advantageous but not mandatory. A positive attitude and dedication to the role are essential.
